Magrath Pharmacy is owned and run by father and son Pharmacists Vincent and Andrew Magrath.  The pharmacy has been in Glascote since 1971.

As well as our pharmacists we have an experienced team working at Magrath Pharmacy:
- Medicines Counter Assistants.
- Dispensing Assistants.
- Dispensing Technicians.

All of our staff have undertaken training accredited by the National Pharmacy Association.

SERVICES
At Magrath Pharmacy we dispense both NHS and private prescriptions.

Free review of your medicines:
- This is called a ‘Medicines Use Review’.  This is an opportunity to sit down with one of our Pharmacists for a discussion about how you are getting on with your regular prescription medicines.

Free New Medicines Service:
- If you are collecting a prescription medicine for the first time, one of our pharmacists will discuss with you in person or by telephone how you are getting on with your new medicine.

Prescription Collection Service:
- We can collect your prescription from your Doctor’s surgery for you.

Prescription Delivery Service:
- If you are housebound we can deliver your prescription to you.

Repeat Dispensing Service:

Your GP can issue you with prescriptions for up to 12 months at a time.

You can leave those prescriptions with us and we will dispense them monthly for you.

HEALTHY LIVING PHARMACY
In December 2011 Magrath Pharmacy will take the first steps to becoming a Healthy Living Pharmacy.
- Two of our members of staff will be trained up as ‘Health Trainer Champions’.

This will make us more proactive at offering services such as smoking cessation, weight management and alcohol awareness. As well as doing everything that a normal pharmacy does we will try to encourage people to live a healthier life.
